Elder Abuse – Spot it, and Stop it!
Seniors, by nature, are more vulnerable, yet the younger and often more capable generation can sometimes exploit this—through deliberate harm, neglect, or even ignorance. Abuse may take many forms: physical, emotional, psychological, or financial. For the elderly, it often begins subtly, with minor discomforts, but can gradually build into overwhelming sadness, profound loneliness, persistent physical pain, irrational fears, sudden tears, and troubling intrusive thoughts.
